Planning
Gianni believes successful project execution, and ultimately the overall performance of any project, begins with proper planning and preparation. Proper planning sets the stage for projects that finish on time and under budget. Prior to the start of any project, Gianni and client team members participate in a kick-off meeting outlining the goals and expectations of the project. Buy-in and accountability are established at the beginning of the project.
Utilize Technology
Tremendous efficiency is gained by going "on-line" with data capture and reporting. Gianni's Client Reporting System is a web-interfaced, relational database application that stores, tracks and reports upon every element of project process. All team members, including clients and subcontractors, have web-based real time access to the system.
Minimize Overhead
Excessive bureaucracy is the fastest way to slow performance and dampen a project team's enthusiasm. Gianni strives to keep project teams lean and efficient. We've also automated much of the approval process and are constantly looking for additional ways to streamline. This includes how we work with and communicate with our clients.
Understand the Process
Site acquisition and network deployment involves hundreds of distinct steps. It is critical the process be completely understood, from the highest level down to the smallest details. Gianni has documented the process and works with all internal and external team members to ensure rapid milestone achievement and project progress.
Measure Progress
The old slogan, "that which can be measured can be managed", is especially true in cell site construction. Gianni has developed a comprehensive "Client Reporting System" designed to capture and measure progress. This includes capturing team goals at the beginning of a project and the ability to benchmark the project performance over time.
Compare Performance
We measure everything and as such, can monitor the milestones that could impact a project's performance. Expectations established at the project's start are used to define key milestones. This allows Gianni to make changes rapidly and keep projects on track. Our employees, suppliers and subcontractors are all held accountable to high levels of performance - allowing us to continually manage and optimize the client's team.

Regional Resources
Often national firms cannot serve certain local markets well. This is especially true for A&E and construction services, where local contacts and employment resources are critical. Our philosophy is to identify the optimal local market subcontractors, whether nationally or locally based and award subcontracts on a market-by-market basis; thereby gaining market expertise to increase efficiencies, saving time and money for our clients.

Gianni's Client Reporting System has proven itself invaluable to helping us identify areas where projects tend to bog down. Our strong emphasis on power and telco services is a direct result of having identified this area as once having been a common cause of sites not going on air on time.
Financial Implications
At Gianni, we strive to minimize our client's operating expenses, and ultimately, their total cost of ownership over the lifespan of the network. As such, we recognize the importance of aggressive upfront lease negotiations and forward thinking relative to future technology upgrades and co-location opportunities.
Align Compensation
Many of Gianni project team members receive a large percentage of their overall compensation only upon completing project milestones. These milestones are structured around key client deliverables.
